The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the layer and I textured it using the "Damask Designs" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.
Next I took a section of the "Extraordinary Flora" Washi tape and affixed it to a 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock. Then I trimmed it to measure 3" x 5" and then I cut that in half on the short side.
I glued the two pieces on top of the embossed layer.
The words are from the "Unbounded Love" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink on Basic White card stock. I cut them out using the second largest circle die in the "Stylish Shapes" set. I set the piece in place on the front of the card about 3/8" from the side edge of the card and about 1-1/4" from the top edge.
Using the matching die for the "Extraordinary Flora" Washi tape roll I cut out a section. I had added Basic White to the Washi tape before cutting out the flowers. I put the larger flower at the top and on the bottom I added the leaves image and a flower. All were set in place using Dimensionals. And that was it, the card was done.
This was a super quick and easy card to make. I love how that Washi tape makes a great background.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
