CM2 Question

CM2 left a comment/question on my blog asking me if I ever run out of ideas! Well sure I do. That's when a good CASE (Copy And Study Everything) comes in handy. And I blog hop almost every day to see what is going on in the stamping world and I get inspired and their idea leads to other ideas and I'm usually good for a couple of days.

And then sometimes I just see things to alter while shopping. I think I have cupboards full of that kind of stuff!!! LOL

Thanks for asking CM2!!

Nessie Wanted to Know!

Nessie had a question for me in her comment. I am not able to reply to the comments. All Blogger allows me to do is to publish them or reject them. SO I will try to answer the question here. She wanted to know why the card stock for the Tic Tac Holder has to fold up on the card stock on the long side. And asking why the card stock can't be cut in half and get 2 holders out of one sheet of card stock.

The card stock is not doubled, it is just a single piece. The card stock measures 3-7/8" x 2 3/4" so you will or should be able to get anywhere from 6 to 8 out of one sheet of card stock, depending on how you lay out your pattern. I would make one out of copier paper first and you'll be able to tell how many will fit on the card stock. Once you cut one out of copier paper you will see why it's scored on the long end. If you're looking to make these to sell, the card stock will probably be the cheapest part of the card.

I hope I was able to answer your question. Have fun making them. If you'd like me to post your finished one on my blog for all of your friends to see, just email it to me and I'll do just that!!!

Thanks SO much,
Wanda

What Does Boho Mean?

I would like to answer a question that was asked of me. I know many people are wondering this. "What does Boho mean?"

I Googled it to get it exactly right for you:
"A fashion look with fringing, patchwork, homespun and raw-edged fabrics, paisley and floral prints, embroidery, tassels, studding, tooled leather....." It also refers to it as a Bohemian style!

I like the fringing and homespun/paisley part of it myself. I'm not a big fan of tassels. Those should be limited only to graduation caps and kept from drapes, clothing and cards!!! Which really translates into: "You won't see tassels hanging in my home, on my person or on my cards!!!" LOL

Ok, now that we all know what it means lets get cracking on some cards with it!! Send me your sample in an email and I'd be more than happy to display it here for you!

Keep those questions coming!

Questions and Answers

I receive a lot of questions in the comments of my posts. Blogger is not set up for me to personally answer any of these questions. I receive your comments in my email so I may moderate them. On 99% of them I usually hit the "publish" icon. I moderate because I had gotten a porn link on my blog. A comment was left saying "nice blog, visit mine." So I did. I'm my jaw has still not totally recovered from hitting the floor. SO I quick did some research and deleted the comment and proceeded to moderate. I use to have it set up where you had to enter the scrambled letters but I found out I could do without it and not have to worry about anything questionable being posted on my blog. Shocker, huh???

Ok, back to "Questions and Answers." Feel free to leave your question in the comment section and I will answer them as best as I can. Someone had asked me about a snowman stamp that was made into a pin. I am in the process of completing that project and it will be posted on here soon. I apologize to the person who asked me. This must have been 2 or 3 weeks ago. I've been extremely busy and a bit of that business included this project. It will be SO exciting to post it. I can't wait to show you!!!

So on with the questions. Try and stump me. It can happen!!! (and probably will LOL).

Have a fabulous day!!!

What Is Webbing Spray? Questions & Answers

I get asked a lot of questions on here and I try to reply back if your name has a link to your blog or an email address. When you post a comment I can not reply back to it. I can only accept it or reject it. I will try to answer questions on my blog in separate posts.

SO, if you have any questions you'd like to ask of me feel free to do so and I'll post the answers on my blog.

Okay, onto the webbing spray. Webbing spray is just another type of spray paint but with a special nozzle that makes the spray come out "funny". On my last card post I think it came out rather thick. I'm thinking that may have happened for several reasons. One it was HOT outside when I sprayed the card stock. Two I may not have shaken the can long enough. Three the nozzle may have been a bit clogged (I never clean them off like they suggest you do after each use - sheesh, who has time for that, I want to make the card!!! LOL) or it could have been the can was old.

I found the webbing spray at Michael's and I believe they still have it. I also got it in gold and white. I'm not sure if it comes in any other colors. I haven't found a need for other colors myself. Though I think maybe silver would be pretty. But I have enough projects for now so that thought will have to be tucked away never to be found again. LOL

And the cost . . . I think it was around $5 or $6 per can.

Actually that one was pretty easy!!! Anymore questions?
