Spooktacular, Halloween Tissue, Weekend Project, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I thought I'd create a fun project to share. I love to have tissue in my car and you can find the round tissue container that fit nicely in the cup holder in the car. I got mine at The Dollar Tree. I didn't want to buy them online because I only needed one container and other places that sell them have them in multi-packages. I only wanted one. Please read on to see how I decorated my container.

I cut two strips of Basic Black card stock that measured 9" x 1".  I taped one to the top and one to the bottom of the container. To get the edges even, I taped the strips on the container having the edge of the card stock against my table so it laid evenly around the container. I flipped the container over and added the second strip the same way. I used super sticky tape because regular double sided tape wasn't strong enough. Glue will work well here too.

My cute pumpkin face is from the "Spooktacular" 6" x 6" package of Designer Series Paper (DSP). I had to use two sheets because one wouldn't go all the way around the container. So this meant that I needed to trim the sides of the DSP at 3/4" on each side of both pieces.

I marked the center of the container and I marked the center of the DSP. The center of the container was marked too. Center didn't have to be exact, just close. As long as it's close to where the Basic Black strips were in the back. I used very sticky tape to the back of both pieces of DSP. Leave about 3/8" of the Basic Black showing on the top. And begin your first piece of DSP on the back. Then tape the other piece of DSP to the front and you're done!

What a fun way to decorate your car a bit for Halloween and that's the extent of decorating in my car! LOL

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween project,
