Wildflower Birthday, Birthday Celebrations, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am still playing with the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP) package. I have lots of sheets left and I'd like to use it up. While looking for a card to make I ran across this one on Pinterest and I just thought it was SO pretty. I had all of the stuff to make it, so why not? You can see the original card here. There was no link to it so I made it as best as I could. Please read on to see how I put it together. It is a little different than the original card but it's still pretty.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP for the layer. I taped it to the card base.

Next I took the pretty piece of DSP and cut it using the third largest die in the "Everyday Arches" die set.

I stamped the words from the "Birthday Celebration" set using Blueberry Bushel ink.

The Pretty in Pink layer behind it was cut using the second largest die in that set. I taped the two layers together. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card.

One of the sheets in the package has punch outs and the balloon was included in that sheet. Cute, huh? I set it in pace with a couple of Dimensionals on the back.

And for the final touch three gold sequins were added and the card was done. Isn't it pretty? See why I just had to make it?

The beauty of packages of DSP is that there are two sheets of each design in it. So that means I was able to make two of these cards at the same time. And why not? I already had the words set up in the MISTY/Stamparatus and they were all inked up and ready to go. So I got two cards done today!  YAY!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
