Thoughtful Moments, Sunflower Embossing Folder, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a super quick and easy card to share with you and it's not a Christmas card! I found it on Pinterest. You can see the original card by clicking here.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Sunflower" embossing folder. I glued this to the front of the card. I found that glue worked better than tape because there isn't enough flat spots to hold this down with tape.

Next I stamped and cut the words using the "Thoughtful Moments" set. You ink up the embossing folder, add the die cutting plate to it and then run it through your Big Shot and it will stamp and cut at the same time. It does the whole folder of words so you have a lot on hand to use in a pinch.  I used Black Memento ink, inked up the folder. I added the die cut plate and then my piece of card stock. I ran it through my Big Shot and I had my word piece for this card.

I added Dimensionals behind the word piece and then set it in place on the front of the card.

A few pearls were added and the card was done.

This was such a super quick card to make. I think it took me longer to type up this post than it did to make the card!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
