Artistically Inked, Thank You Card, 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I SO love the "Artistically Inked" set and today I found a fun card on Pinterest that I thought I would try out!  You can see the original card here.  This was a pretty easy card to make.  Here's how I made it.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.  I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and I textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder.  I taped that piece to the front of the card.

Next I die cut the larger flowers image from the "Artistically Inked" bundle. The dies are called "Artistic" dies.  I used Basic White card stock to cut mine. The original card used the January 2021 Sale-a-Bration 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP) stack. I think. It's an ombre paper that was used and there was ombre DSP in the Sale-a-Brations catalog.  Anyway, I didn't have it handy, so I grabbed my Blends pens and colored.

I colored the flowers using light Highland Heather and then I came back in the centers with the dark Highland Heather pen.

The leaves were colored using the light Old Olive Blends pen and then I colored in some dark Old Olive. And for the areas closer to the flowers I used the dark Mossy Meadow Blends pen. And that was it for the coloring.

The words are from the "Artistically Inked" set and were stamped using Old Olive ink.  I had cut the into a rectangle shape but I didn't like it so I fussy cut around them. I have never done that before with words. I do like the look and it was pretty simple to cut out.  The words were set in place using Dimenisonals.

Some silver Metallic Pearls were added to the center of the large flower and the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make. I thought it was fun and I really like how the words turned out. I'm not a fan of fussy cutting, but I'd do that again!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this bright thank you card,
Wanda

Such a beautiful card Wanda. I especially LOVE the embossing you did on your front panel.
