Halloween Card, September 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit

I'm still finding some fun cards to make with the September 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I have made quite a few cards and still have lots of pieces left in the kit. You can see the original card here. There's several cards in that link but you will spot the one that caught my eye!

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Soft Suede card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock was added to the inside.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mango Melody for the front of the card. I stamped the witch hat all over the piece using Cajun Craze ink. It made a nice background, plus it ties the die cut hat in with the design.

The words are from the kit and I used Cajun Craze ink on Whisper White card stock. I used the second largest "Stitched" oval die to cut the words out. I moved the die over so there was white open space on the left for the hat.

An Old Olive scalloped oval was cut for the layer. I usually cut one that is just a hair larger than the oval but this one was one more size up. You can see the color more doing that. Plus I think smaller would make the oval look lost in the middle of the card.

I took a yellow and orange flower from the kit and glued them to the hat from the kit. Then the hat was taped in place on the oval.  The oval was set in place on the scalloped oval using Dimensionals and then that piece was taped in place on the front of the card.  And the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make. And it's such a cute Halloween card.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
