Framed for You, Itty Bitty Greetings, Thank You Card, 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I do have one more Halloween card to make but I will wait until tomorrow and then I promise I am done playing with the September 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I have to say that I had the most fun with that kit, it had lots of pieces to play with and lots of ideas to see.

So onto today's card. The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I took a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White and I textured it using the "Subtle" embossing folder. I taped that piece to the card base.

Yesterday I shared with you a Halloween card I made using a template that helps you stamp your images in a nice circle.  Here is a link to the Halloween card I made. There you will find a link on how to make your own template.  My card stock was cut to the size of the square die I used. So if you use a die that is different than 2-7/8" x 2-7/8" your circle will be either larger or smaller. I have plans to make a larger template to accommodate larger images. But for now this one worked. I used the leaves from the "Framed for You" set and I stamped them using Mossy Meadow card stock. The stamp is textured so it doesn't ink solid, which is nice. Had it inked solid I would have inked off once. You don't want those leaves really dark. I stamped those leaves eight times. Stamping and turning the card stock and repeating.

The flowers are from the same set and were stamped using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze ink. I stamped 5 of each color and then I fussy cut 5 of each color.  Yup, I did fussy cutting.  But it was worth it. I had this idea in my mind and it turned out just how I had imagined it! So the fussy cutting was a must!

I set two flowers in place using glue dots and the last one in each cluster was added using a small Dimensional.  I alternated the colors some. The combo I used worked out well. It's pleasing to the eye and the eye moves around the circle.

I cut a 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" piece of Cajun Craze card stock for the layer. Before I taped the Whisper White piece to it, I die cut the tag from the "Ornate Frames" dies.  I cut it diagonally to make sure I didn't get it too close to the edge if it slipped in the Big Shot before I started rolling it in.  There was plenty of room to cut it straight across but I wanted to be extra careful. I don't have the best luck sometimes.  After die cutting, I taped the Whisper White piece to the Cajun Craze piece and then I set it in place on top of the textured piece using Dimensionals.

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greetings" set and were stamped on a 3/8" x 1-1/2" piece of Wisper White card stock. I cut several pieces because I didn't think I would be able to stamp it straight.  I caught a break there, I stamped it straight the first time. But had I not cut the other pieces, would I have stamped it straight??? LOL  I taped the words to the die cut tag and I set the tag in place using small Dimensionals.   And the card was done.

Other than the fussy cutting, everything else went really fast.  I would make this card again. If there was something good on tv to watch while I cut tons of flowers!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for taking the time to visit today,
Wanda
