The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Pool Party card stock. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was cut and taped to the inside. And another piece was cut at the same size and textured using the "Peaceful Greens" embossing folder. I taped that to the front using some very strong tape. I find that the more a piece is textured the easier it is for it to come off. So I usually use glue but today I just used some very strong tape.
The floral piece is from a piece of DSP from the "Traditions of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. I fussy cut it because I do not have the matching dies. It didn't take as long as I thought it would. Once it was cut I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
I do not know where the words are from, they were gifted to me. I was hoping to find the answer to that when I saw the card on Pinterest and an open link. But alas, the link didn't take me to where I needed to go. I'm sure I'll find out where they came from eventually.
Three amber rhinestones were added to the front and the card was done.
This was a fun card to make. I really don't mind fussy cutting and I can see myself making another card like this in the future.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
