Snowman Season, Penguin Playmates, Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Today's card was found on Pinterest but there was no link to find out how it was made, so here is how I made it. You can see the original here

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock and it was textured using the snowflakes from the "Wintry 3D" embossing folder. It's not a full size one so it left a blank spot on the bottom.  That is why I figured the Designer Series Paper (DSP) was cut to the size it was. I glued the Night of Navy piece to the front of the card.

The DSP from the "Penguin Playmates" 12" x 12" package was cut at 5-1/4" x 1" and glued to the front of the card.

I cut the dotted piece of DSP from the same "Penguin Playmates" package to measure 2" x 3-1/4".  And I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock at 2-1/4" x 3-1/2". I taped the DSP to the Basic Black piece.

I fussy cut a penguin from the "Penguin Playmates" DSP and set it in place on the dotted DSP using Dimensionals.

The words are from the "Snowman Season" and were stamped on a piece of Basic White using Real Red ink. I trimmed it to 3" x 5/8".  I snipped the corners for a softer look. I set the words in place using Dimensionals.

The snowflakes are from the "So Many Snowflakes" dies. I die cut three of them from a scrap piece of Basic White card stock.  I put some glue on a scrap piece of paper and touched the snowflakes to it and stuck it to the front of the card. My snowflakes are different than on the original card but these worked out just the same. Small Rhinestones were added to the center of each snowflake and a few around the front of the card.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was taped to the inside and the card was done.

This was a very fun, quick and easy card to make. I love the snowflakes on that Night of Navy background.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
