Handsomely Suited, Masculine Birthday Card, Father's Day Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

Today's card was found on Pinterest. You can see the original card here. I liked it so much I pretty much copied it as it was.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Misty Moonlight card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

There is a 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White piece on top of the card base for the first layer.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Well Suited" 12" x 12" package. The piece was cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" and taped on top of the Basic White layer.

The ties were stamped using the two long tie stamps from the "Handsomely Suited" set. The first tie was stamped using Versa Mark on Misty Moonlight card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The center tie was stamped on Smoky Slate card stock using Basic Gray ink.

And the third tie was stamped using Seaside Spray card stock and Misty Moonlight ink.

All three ties were die cut and set in place on top of the DSP using Dimensionals.

The words are from the same "Handsomely Suited" set and were stamped on a piece of Basic White using Misty Moonlight ink. They were die cut using the second smallest Rectangle Die in the set of 8 dies in the package. The words were also set in place using Dimensionals.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White was added to the inside of the card and the card was done.

This is a fun set to play with and I like it because it's a great masculine set.

What was nice about the components of this card was that I was able to use scraps.  It was nice to not to have to die cut a new piece of card stock for small pieces. But sometimes it happens and you just have to roll with it. But when it happens that you can use up all scraps, it's even better!

There are also some Father's Day words in this set and this card would make a great Father's Day card too!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this nice masculine card today,
Wanda
