Back on Your Feet, Get Well Card

I still had my "Back on Your Feet" set sitting out so I thought I'd make another card using it.  Are you surprised that I did not put my set away from yesterday? I'm not. I'm not good about putting things back right away. I usually wait until the sets are stacked so high that they topple over or I have no room to work on my table. I'd like to be better about putting things away right away but at this point in my life I don't see that ever happening!!! LOL Today's card was quick and easy and here's how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Cinnamon Cider card stock. I loved this color so much I went from a variety pack to a whole pack of it because it's perfect for gingerbread men. I may buy another pack just to have it on hand before it retires in 2022. I think I have plenty of time to decide if I need more.  LOL

I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper from the "Flowers for Every Season" 6" x 6" paper stack. It measures 4" x 5-1/4".

I cut a piece of So Saffron card stock that measures 2-3/4" x 4-3/4".  I textured it using the "Old World Paper" embossing folder.  That's a fun folder to play with. I taped this piece to the DSP, lining it up on the top, left and bottom.

I stamped the giraffe from the "Back on Your Feet" set using a 2-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Whisper White card stock. Black Memento ink was used to stamp the image.  I colored it in using the light Daffodil Delight Blends pen and the light Pumpkin Pie Blends pen. And that was it for the coloring.  I taped this piece to a 2-3/8" 4-1/8" piece of Cinnamon Cider card stock.  I glued this piece to the top of the embossed So Saffron piece. Tape didn't want to stay stuck on it.  Though it did on the other side of the textured piece.

The words are from the same set and were stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White using black Memento ink.  I die cut them with the smallest circle die in the "Layering Circles" Framelets.  And I used the smallest scalloped circle die on a scrap piece of Cinnamon Cider. Or you can use the larger Cinnamon Cider layer before you tape it to the giraffe piece. I taped the two circles together and then set them in place on the right side of the giraffe using Dimensionals.

And that was it. This was a very quick and easy card to make.  It's just the right colors for a man or a woman.

Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today and have a look,                                      Wanda
