Remarkable You, Paper Piecing Technique

I received this card last night at Terri's Tuesday Technique Night.  It was made by Shelly.  The technique was called "Paper Piecing".  It's where you stamp the image on the base cardstock, here it's the Whisper White oval and then you stamp the image again onto decorative paper.  Then you hand cut the image inside the stamped lines and set the cut piece in place over the stamped image on the Whisper White piece. The card I posted yesterday shows the technique a bit closer. You can see that card by clicking here.  It's kind of like coloring in the image but you're using Decorative Paper instead of inks or markers.

The set used here is "Remarkable You."  I don't have this set, but I do love the flowers in it.  I'm not going to order it, the new catalog is coming out in about 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to ordering some new stuff!

This is a fun technique, please read yesterday's post to see how the technique is done.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

Hi Wanda, as always I so enjoy your clean and simple cards. They are perfect for me since I like to make this kind of card. No fussiness or busyness. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
