Labeled Love Birthday Card

Today's card comes to you from Amy Oniell's Blog.  And as usual, I did make a couple of changes.  One I used different ribbon and instead of the button on top of it I used a clay flower.  And I used a different image from the "Labeled Love" stamp set.  I was looking for a card that used the paper doily.  I have a whole pack of them (minus one or two) and i wanted to find some cards that I could use the doily on.  I tried a card on my own and I thought it turned out rather ugly.  SO my next choice was to go surfing to find some beauties out there to copy and make me feel good about owning a package of paper doilies!!!  LOL

The base of my card is Daffodil Delight.  On top of that is a trimmed piece of Pacific Point and on top of that is the Gingham Garden decorative paper.  I used the "Tastefully Trim" Sizzix die for the large gingham scallop.  I did have fun making this card.  It had a lot of pieces but once they all were put together I rather enjoyed it.  And I got to use a doily!!!  LOL
