Spring Sampler Candy Headers Weekend Project

These were fun to make (for the most part)!  I added that part because coloring each jelly bean with a marker and stamping, repeating, repeating, repeating wasn't all that fun.  After a few inches it became robotic and I did get the paper covered that I needed to.  Once I got my "One Sheet Wonder" done I cut off pieces from it to use for the headers and then the fun began.

The jelly beans and the bunny came from the "Spring Sampler" set.  It's a fun little set and I wish I had more time to play with it.  Once the bunnies were stamped I punched them out with the 1-3/8" circle punch.  Then I used the scallop punch and punched out the Pretty in Pink pieces.

The bags measure 2" x 3"  and the header was cut 2-1/4" x 4".  I did plan the header so I didn't have any jelly beans on the back.  I really did not enjoy coloring them.  Did I mention that before?  LOL  I folded the header piece in half on the long side and stapled it to the bag.  I stapled the header on "backwards".  Most people would staple on the front.  I staple from the back.  That way the back is smooth and the bumps of the staples are hidden by the images I add later.  I often hammer down the bumps to make them very flat.

The last thing I did was I layered the bunny image and scallop and affixed them to the header.  They are now ready for Easter!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
