Waterside Retreat, Garden Gatherings, Masculine Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a super quick masculine card to share with you.  Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut the beautiful watercolor boat/lake image from a sheet of Designer Series Paper (DSP) that came from the "Waterside Retreat" 12" x 12" package. After cutting it from the sheet of several other images, I measured it. It measures 4-3/4" x 3-1/4".  

A 5" x 3-1/2" piece of "Peaceful Pine"card stock for the layer. I taped the two pieces together and then taped that to the card base.

The words are from the "Garden Gatherings" bundle and were stamped using the new Basic Black hybrid ink on Basic White card stock. I cut them out using a die from the "Sweet Words & Labels" die set.  Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card and the card was done.

This is such a perfect masculine birthday card. It would also make a great Father's Day card and even a masculine sympathy card.
