Traditions of Christmas, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made. Once again I used one of the layouts that I have in my 3D stash.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Traditions of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. I taped it to the front of the card.

Next I cut three pieces of DSP that measure 2" x 1-1/2" each and they were taped to a piece of Basic White card stock that measures 2-1/4" x 5".  This was taped to the left side of the card.

The flowers were fussy cut because I do not have the die that goes with the DSP. It wasn't too bad to cut, I brought the sheet along with me to a craft fair and when there was down time I fussy cut some pieces out. I set the piece in place using Dimensionals where they wouldn't be seen, so some of the thinner pieces do not have any backing behind them.

I do not know where the words came from. They were gifted to me along with the DSP but they are probably in the current 2025 holiday mini catalog.

I thought this was a fun card to make and I did learn something after I put it together. It's important to watch which directions the dots go. I was using scraps from the card I made yesterday.  Oh well, maybe no one will notice, right?  LOL

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda

Pretty card! Love the layout. I'm quite certain that only a fellow cardmaker might notice the dots. :-) I seriously also think those things are more noticeable in photos.
