Delightful Wishes, Charming Day, Get Well Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a beautiful get well card to share with you that I found on Pinterest. There is a link to the blog where it came from if you click on the Pinterst photo. You can see the original card by clicking here. There was not enough details on how the card was made. Please read on to see how I put this card together.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Blackberry Bliss. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was cut and taped to the inside.

Then I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Floral Charm" 12" x 12" package. I taped that to the front of the card.

The Basic White banner piece was cut next. I used the 9th largest die from the "Party Banners" die set. I stamped the "you well" words from the "Delightful Wishes" bundle. They were stamped about 1/2" up from the middle point of the banner piece. I used Blackberry Bliss ink on the words.

Next I stamped the flowers from the "Charming Day" bundle. I cut them out with the matching dies. They were colored using the light and dark "Mossy Meadow" Blends pens on the leaves. The smaller flower was colored in using both light and dark "Fresh Freesia" Blends pens. The largest flower was colored in using the light and dark "Berry Burst" Blends pens and the flower next to it was colored in using both light and dark "Blackberry Bliss" Blends pens.

I cut two leaf sets using Mossy Meadow card stock.

The words are from the "Delightful Wishes" bundle. I cut the "wishing" out of Basic White card stock that was adhered to a double sided sticky sheet. This made it easer for me to stick it to the background piece. That background piece was cut using Blackberry Bliss card stock. When adding the "wishing" I remembered to keep the little dots for the "i's".

I taped the banner piece in place on the front of the card about 3/4" on both sides and top.

The flowers were added using Dimensionals. I didn't press down on them yet because I needed to slip the leaf clusters under. I did add a little bit of glue to the end of each leaf cluster and then slipped them under the flowers. I pressed down on the flowers.

The words were added next I cut pieces of Dimensionals and added them to the "wish" part and glue to the "ing" part. I set the piece in place across the front.

I had some Mossy Meadow Candy Dots (retire) and I added them to the front. I still have a lot of dots left and need to use them up.

This was not only a fun card to make but a very gorgeous card. Can you see why I had to make one? My friend is going to love it. Off it goes in the mail tomorrow.

Thank you SO very much for stopping by to see today's get well card,
Wanda
