Beautiful Friendship, Butterfly Wishes, Birthday Card

I got an email today and in it was the upcoming retiring list from Stampin' Up!. The "Beautiful Friendship" set was on that list. SO I took out my set and I found a pretty, quick and easy card to make using it. If you click through to the original post you will be able to find the video but there are no measurements so I had to guess. I went to click on the link and my computer froze up. And as usual, I started clicking on the screen and the next thing I knew the page was gone and I couldn't find how to get it back. It wasn't even in my history. UGH.  Anyway, here's how the card was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Blushing Bride card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

The Basic White piece was cut at4-7/8" x 3-5/8".

First the three small roses were stamped using Blushing Bride ink.  Then the two seed images were stamped. The image was inked up using Blushing Bride ink and the top part was tapped on the Flirty Flamingo pad and then stamped on the card stock. It needs to be cleaned off so it can be repeated for the second one.

The leaves were added using Garden Green in that was stamped off twice and the third time it was stamped onto the card stock. I didn't like it on my card, the green was almost gone and hardly visible so I redid my flowers and used Granny Apple Green for the leaves.

The center of the flowers were stamped using Flirty Flamingo ink.

Granite Gray was used to stamp the words from the "Butterfly Wishes" set. The piece measured 3/4" x 2-1/4".  I clipped the ends but you can use a punch to do them if you have one.

Both pieces were set in place using Dimensionals.

I tied a bow using two 7" pieces of Baker's Twine. The video showed a piece of ribbon that was trimmed and threads pulled to make the bow. I didn't have any of that ribbon so I just used Baker's Twine. I glued the bow in place and added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White on the inside of the card and the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make. It would also make a great wedding, anniversary, Mother's Day, thinking of you or a get well card. It's very versatile.

Be sure to check out my web store, I plan on putting a lot more stamps for sale in there. I need to downsize, I really have no room for new stuff. www.JustOneMoreBead.com/shop

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to have a look at what I made today,
Wanda
