Halloween Candy Holder Treats Box

These boxes are fun to make but a bit tricky to twist the ends closed.  I find it much easier to twist card stock than decorative paper. I'm so afraid I'm going to rip the decorative paper because it's thinner.  But as you can see I didn't and the box turned out pretty darn cute!

I used the Howlstooth decorative paper.  I love it that I've got the two different papers showing.  The backside of the paper is the orange and black stripes. Then I added some scalloped dotted black ribbon.  Can you get anymore mismatched designs together?  Adding stripes with plaids and then some polka dots!!!  But that's what makes Halloween fun, anything goes together!

The "Booo" is from the Googly Ghouls set.  I just stamped it using black StazOn and I cut around the letters with my scissors.  Nothing I'd like to do more than a couple of times.  I'm not a big fan of cutting stuff out by hand.  Isn't that what punches and dies are for??? LOL

Before you twist up the second end you will want to add your candies.  You can add them later but the twisting isn't fun!.

I have a special friend I'm going to be giving this to.  I know she's going to LOVE it!  It's a great way to make inexpensive gifts and a fun way to decorate them!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
