Snowman Season, Delicate Baubles, Stitched Snowflakes, Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

 I do not know what this technique is called. I had done it before using the "Sweet Strawberries" set. You can see that card here. This card did not turn out as cool as the strawberry one.  It's not even close too cool. When I got done die cutting my the word "ICK" came out of my mouth!  I was not happy with this card at all. It was nothing like what was in my head. But you know me, I share the good, the bad and the ugly with you.  This one is ugly!!!

I'm going to share how I made it in the event there is an "Ugliest Card" contest so you will know how to make it and win!  LOL

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I took a quarter sheet of Basic White card stock and my Blending Brush and I brushed on some Pool Party ink. I did this on two pieces because one was not enough.  Then I die cut the snowflakes from the "Stitched Snowflakes" die set.

They were set in place on the front of the card using regular, small and pieces of Dimensionals. Then I took the bulb frame from the "Delicate Baubles" die set to cut out the shape. But before I cut I placed a piece of Press'n Seal over the top to hold the pieces in place.  Then I die cut the shape. When I removed the Press'n Seal, that's when I said "ICK!"  I was not pleased with the way it looked.  So I thought I'd see what I could do with just the bulb piece. I started to remove the Press'n Seal and I ended up gluing the tiny pieces in place or they would be lost.  After I removed the Press'n Seal, I set the bulb aside because neither were what I was expecting to see. UGH!

I went ahead and stamped the "Let it Snow" from the Snowman Season set using Pool Party ink. It didn't help me like the card any better.

I thought maybe if I add some rhinestones to the snowflakes to give it some bling thinking that would help. Nope, there's no help for this card at all.  It's a dud!  If you can come up with a better way to make this card look better, PLEASE let me know!

I think I'll work on some fall and Thanksgiving cards for a while!  My heart is just not into Christmas cards yet (obviously!).

Stitched Snowflake Dies, Bright Baubles, Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Today I thought I'd play with the "Stitched Snowflakes" dies. I thought they were just adorable and I LOVE snowflakes!  So here's what I came up with.

I feel like I'm working with very limited Christmas supplies. I did not order any Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP). I had gotten some in the Sale-a-Bration and that was it. I don't know what I was thinking. So I am going to have to get creative.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.  On top of that is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White card stock.  

I cut a 1" x 5" strip of Basic White card stock and I took my blending brush and lightly scrubbed in some Pool Party ink.  Then I took the snowflakes image from the "Bright Baubles" set and stamped them on the piece. I had stamped off once before stamping on the piece and then I stamped one more time before I inked it up again only to stamp off and repeat!  I also took the blending brush and brushed along the edges of that strip to highlight them a little more. I taped it on top of the 3-3/4" x 5" piece using snail tape.  I taped it about 3/4" from the left side edge.

The word "Joy" is from the "Bright Baubles" set and was stamped using Pool Party ink

I die cut the largest snowflake using Basic White card stock.  Then I colored it using my Wink of Stella pen.  It doesn't show up on the snowflake in the photo but in real life it's very sparkly and pretty. It's got such a soft sparkle.

The tips of the snowflake were colored using the blending brush. I also took a paint brush with Pool Party ink on it and brushed it on the tips of the inner part of the snowflake.  I set the snowflake in place with a small white Dimensional and that was it.

This is a very quick and easy card to make. I can see myself making more of these!

Bright Baubles, Delicate Baubles, Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Don't you love it when right in the middle of your card making you decide to do a color change?  I was going to use Night of Navy to make this card. It's a very rich color but I thought it was too dark. So I grabbed a piece of Pacific Point and back to work I went.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.  Then I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pacific Point card stock.  

A Basic White piece of card stock was cut at 3-3/4" x 5".  I stamped the words on the bottom using Pacific Point ink. I do not know what stamp set this came from. I know it's retired. I had a little note inside my Stamparatus that said where it came from so I could put it back but it's gone! UGH!  So I will just keep it inside my Stamparatus until the set is located. It's here, it's just a matter of taking the time to go through all the sets to see where it goes. That's not happening!  I'll run across it and then it will find it's home!  Anyway, I stamped the words using Pacific Point ink.

The Basic White piece as then textured using a retired snow swirl embossing folder. You can use any folder you like. I just happened to find this one yesterday and I liked it. It just seemed to fit well with the die cut.  Though I do recommend die cutting the piece before embossing it.

The bulb circle/oval was cut using the die from the "Delicate Baubles" dies.  I taped this piece to the Pacific Point piece and then to the front of the card base.

I die cut the "Joy" bulb from the "Delicate Baubles" die set using silver foil card stock. I did use a double sided sticky sheet for the back of the silver card stock so I could make this a sticker for easer placement.  The image was set in place on top of the opening in the Basic White piece.

A bow was tied and set in place using a couple of glue dots and the card was done.

This is a very quick and easy card to make. You can make up a bunch for your Holiday card in no time.

Bright Baubles, Delicate Baubles Bundle, Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog

Today is Halloween and I am not making a Halloween card (as promised). I am moving on. I was going to work on something with more of a fall theme but I saw this "Bright Baubles" bundle and pulled it off my shelf to see what I could come up with.  And here's what I made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.  

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock for the layer.

I took a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White and I die cut the solid part of the image. I saved the cut out piece. I don't know why. I save everything! I might need it and then again, I might not! LOL  Anyway, it's there if I do!  Then I was looking in my folders for something fun and festive for the background. I had thought of leaving it plain but then I saw these swirling snowflakes and went with it. I do not know where that embossing folder is from.

Then I took the word piece that matched the cut out piece and I die cut it using silver foil card stock. I had added the double sided sticky paper to it so it would be a sticker and I wouldn't have to mess with glue.

I glued the embossed piece to the Pool Part piece.  Then I taped that to the front of the card.

I took the silver foil piece and removed the backing. Then I set it in place on top of the Pool Party exposed area. I pressed down on the backside so I wouldn't make any marks on the silver card stock.

I took some silver lined ribbon that I had and tied a bow. I glued it in place and the card was done. 

I had thought about adding words but the "Merry & Bright" pretty much took care of that, didn't it?  SO this is the finished card!

Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween, Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Mini Holiday Catalog

This is the last Halloween card for the year! I promise!  I am Halloweened out!! LOL  I was going to be done yesterday but when I saw this card I thought I had just one more Halloween card in me.  And that is it!  Just one more! I found this card on Pinterest. You can see the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut two piece of Basic White at 4" x 5-1/4".  One for the inside and one to texture for the top of the card. It was textured using the "Tasteful Textile" embossing folder and glued in place on the top of the card. 

I cut the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Cute Halloween" 6" x 6" stack at 4-1/2" x 2-1/2".  The Basic Black layer was cut at 4-3/4" x 2-3/4" and the DSP was taped to it. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it aside.

Then the dotted paper was cut at 3-7/8" x 2-1/4". It's from the same DSP stack. I marked the bottom center and then marked 1/2" up from there. I snipped from the corner to the mark that is 1/2" up. I repeated that for the other side to form the ribbon looking end.  I glued this piece in place on top of the embossed Basic White card stock, about 1/8" from the right edge of the Basic White card stock.

Next the layered bat piece was set in place over the ribbon piece. I lined up the left, top and right so they looked pretty even.

The words are from the "Frightfully Cute" set and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. They were die cut using the cute die from the "Frightful Tags" dies. I love this shape, it's so fun and the piercing around it is a perfect touch. I added Dimensionals to the bottom part and snail tape to the upper part and I set it in place on the front of the card. 

The other piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside and the card was done.

This was such a cute, kid-friendly card and a perfect last card for the Halloween season!

Cute Halloween, Cutest Halloween, Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Mini Holiday Catalog

I have one more Halloween card in me for tomorrow.  Just in time because there's only 1 day left until Halloween.  But on the 31st I will not be making any more Halloween cards. I need to make some birthday cards for my twin sister-in-laws and some other fall cards. Plus I want to make some Thanksgiving cards and of course Christmas cards. I didn't buy many fall or Christmas sets so I will need to be creative with the supplies I have.  Wish me luck there!!!

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. You can use a folded half-sheet of Granny Apple Green. I would have if I hadn't changed the direction my card was going in. So on top of my card base is a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Granny Apple Green card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Cute Halloween" 6" x 6" stack. The sad part about this splotchy black piece of DSP is that the cute bat and his fellow characters are on the other side.  But I had a full sheet and what I cut off I made sure I had a whole bat to fussy cut out. 

I fussy cut the big bat, the little bat and the little pumpkin. I set them aside.

Then I took my circle dies and I cut a 1-5/8" circle about 1-1/4" down and 1-1/4" over on each side, or close to that. I just tried to make all three sides look even.

I took the 1-7/8" circle die and cut a Pumpkin Pie circle. I taped the 1-5/8" die on top of that circle and die cut it so I had a ring. I glued the ring over the opening on the black piece of DSP.

I took a 3" x 3" piece of Basic White card stock, centered it somewhat over the circle and I lightly traced the circle onto it.  I stamped the words from the "Cutest Halloween" using black Memento ink. I erased the circle and then wondered why I bothered to trace it in the first place.   I added Dimensionals around the circle on the back of the DSP piece and I affixed the word piece to it. I wanted to make sure the words were over to the side a bit so the bat could pop over it a bit.

Next I added more Dimensionals to the edges of the DSP and I used snail tape over the 3" x 3" basic white piece.  I was now ready to tape it to the Granny Apple Green piece. 

The bats and pumpkin were set in place using Dimensionals and some retired enamel dots were added. I forgot to add one to the upper left of the circle. I did add it later. It is so open there and it needed something. Had I purchased the star sequins I would have added them, but I didn't, so I used what I had.

This was a fun card to make this kid friendly card and I'm glad to be almost done making Halloween cards. I usually don't make this many. I had a great time with the sets I bought and I'm sure they will not be showing up in next years catalog.

Snowman Season, So Many Snowflakes, Christmas Card

I was going to make another Halloween card today but I think I'm all Halloween carded out! Maybe one more but not today! I decided to work on a sparkly Christmas card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock for the top layer.

I set the top layer piece in my Stamparatus and I stamped the "Merry Christmas" from the "Snowman Season" set. I think it has a pretty font. A little fancy and a little playful too! I stamped the words using Balmy Blue ink.

I had die cut the large ring using two circle dies. I had used the 1-7/8" for the outer part of the circle and then I die cut the glitter paper circle on the inside using the 1-5/8" circle. I set it on the front of my card and it looked too large. So I grabbed another scrap piece of the glitter paper and die cut a I cut a 1-3/8" circle and the ring cut for the center I used the 1-1/8" circle die. I thought it was just a bit too small. It was okay but it wasn't appealing to me, so I decided to use both. I had used a double sided sticky sheet to make them so they could be stickers and be set in place easy. I could have glued them too. The Tombow Mono glue is perfect for this. 

I took a scrap piece of the glitter paper and die cut a snowman using the die from the "So Many Snowflakes" die set. I added a Dimensional to the back of it and set it in place on the rings.

I colored a crystal rhinestone using my Balmy Blue Blends pen and set it in place on the center of the snowflake. 

I set the piece in place on the card base using Dimensionals and the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy Christmas card to make. And I do like the double rings.

Cutest Halloween, Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween, Halloween Card

Today I was not feeling creative at all. I had stamped some pumpkins and had no idea what I was going to do with them. I was looking through the scraps of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Cute Halloween" 6" x 6" stack. And here's what I ended up with.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

My piece of DSP measures 2" x 3" and the Highland Heather layer measures 2-1/8" x 3-1/8". I taped the two pieces together and I taped it to the front of the card about 1-1/4" up from the bottom and 3/4" from the fold.

The words are from the "Frightfully Cute" set and were stamped with a very juicy black Memento ink. Note to self, don't use freshly inked ink pads!! I have two and will ink one and use the other one because of the juicy ink issue.  But I forgot. UGH!!  Anyway, the words were stamped about 5/8" from the bottom of the card.

I set the pumpkins in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.  Though I think the background could use something. Splatters??  Bats flying???  I don't know, it just needs something.

This was a super quick and easy card to make. It's a very non-scary card for kids too!

Banner Year, kid Friendly Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I found today's sweet little cared on Pinterest. You can see the original card here. I was drawn to this card because it used the "Banner Year" set. I'm sure this set will be retiring in 2022 because it's been around for almost 2 years now. Which is sad and what else is sad is that I haven't used it as much as I thought I would. 

The original card link doesn't lead to any instructions, so here's how I made the card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 3" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock and I stamped the images from the "Banner Year" set using Basic Back for the bat and the pumpkin's face, Pumpkin Pie for the pumpkin and Highland Heather for the spiderweb.

Then I cut a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Highland Heather card stock for the layer.  I taped the two pieces together and then I taped that to the front of the card. 

The words are from the "Banner Year" set too and were stamped on a scrap piece of Highland Heather using black Memento ink.  That piece measures 1/2" x 3" and the ends were snipped to look like ribbon ends. I had used what was left from trimming my Highland Heather piece for the layer. Actually I stamped first and then I cut.  I set that strip in place using Dimensionals.  

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside of the card and the card was done.

This was a very fun and quick card to make. If I were to make another one, I'd take a full sheet of Basic White and fill it with these characters and cut it to make 6 cards!  Such a deal.

Cutest Halloween, Cute Halloween, Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

When I saw this card on Pinterest I knew I just had to make one. What caught my eye was the coloring of the adorable "Cute Halloween" Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 6" x 6" stack. There was no way I was not going to make one of these cards. I had it in my cue to make and today happened to be the day I had time to make it. You can see the original card here.  But it just didn't end there. The inside of the card was just too darn cute too. I usually don't do anything with the insides of my cards but this one just begged me to include it all.  So I did and here's how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. After it was cut it measured 11" x 4-1/4".  I scored it at 5-1/2" and folded it. So now the card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

The front panel was cut off at 1-3/4".  The front panel measured 2-1/2".  I cut a piece of the DSP that had the candies on it and they were colored with my Blends pens. You can use markers too. I used Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Bronze, Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie.  I taped it to the front panel.

Then I stamped and punched out 6 pumpkins. Five of them were taped to the front of the card on the upper edge.

The words are from the "Cutest Halloween" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a piece of Old Olive card stock. I didn't have the same die cut that was used on the original card but I had one that fit from the "Ornate Frames" die set. I set the words in place using two Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I cut the houses image sheet from the DSP pack to measure 4" x 5-1/4" and I taped it in place. 

A 5" x 2" piece of Basic White card stock was cut and then stamped with the words from the "Cutest Halloween" set using black Memento ink. A little spider was stamped in the upper right corner using black Memento ink.

On the inside flap a 2-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP from the same "Cute Halloween" 6' x 6" stack was taped in place. Then the 6th pumpkin was taped in place.

A ghost was stamped using Smoky Slate ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I stamped the face image using Fresh Freesia ink and then it was punched out too. I shut the card and set the ghost in place using a couple of Dimensionals.  And this adorable card was done.  So cute, isn't it? Can you see why I just had to make it?

Penguin Place, Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Today I thought I would try a different layout. I'm one who basically sticks to my cards opening on the right with the fold on the left. It's a stretch for me to have my cards open on the bottom!!!  But today, my card opens a lot differently. First it opens from the left panel and then it opens the opposite direction on the inside panel.

First I cut sheet of Highland Heather card stock in half. It measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2".  I set the long side on my scoring board. I scored it at 2-1/8" and I turned it around to score the other end at 2-1/8".  I folded those panels inward. They are supposed to touch each other. Mine did not but it doesn't really matter because it won't show.

I textured the front left panel using the "Wintry" 3D embossing folder. It's not a very wide folder but it was more than wide enough for that panel. 

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the inside and I taped it in place.

Then I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Night of Navy card stock and taped the right side to the right side panel, leaving a sliver of a border.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Penguin Playmates" 12" x 12" package. I taped that to the Night of Navy piece.

The words are from the "Penguin Place" set and were stamped using Night of Navy ink on Basic White card stock. I punched them out using the "Double Oval" punch. I also punched out the Night of Navy scalloped oval from the same punch. I taped the two ovals together and then I added tape to the left side of the oval and set it in place on the Highland Heather panel.

I stamped a small cap from the "Penguin Place" set using Garden Green ink and I fussy cut it out. I set it in place on the oval, over the left side of the words using a Dimensional.  And that was it, the card was done.

This was a very quick and simple card to make. A perfect way to use up some of that DSP too!!! Wouldn't this be a cute layout for a Halloween card using a spider web die on the left panel?  Hmmm, lots of fun possibilities with this layout!

Sorry I didn't change the orientation of the second photo. After realizing I should have done that I was going to do it but I have had issues with removing photos and added a different one. It messes up the word layout. So just tilt your head a little to the right and you can see the layout better!

Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween, Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Once again, with only a few more days left till Halloween, I thought I'd squeeze another card in before the items retire.  No one really wants to see Halloween cards in November. I think it's then time to move along to other fall cards, Thanksgiving cards and even Christmas cards. So I thought I'd use my Halloween sets a few more days to get some extra use out of them before they are set aside for ever because I know next year I'll be buying new ones!!!

I found today's card on Pinterest. I loved how it looked. I loved the background and of course I got to use the spiderweb die again. I LOVE that die. I made a few minor changes. You can see the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. It was cut on the short side of the full sheet. It measured 4-1/4" x 11" after cutting.  I folded it in half on the long side. This card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.

I cut a piece of Basic White card stock to measure 3-1/4" x 5-1/2".  Then I cut a piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Cute Halloween" 6" x 6" stack to measure 3" x 5-1/2".  I taped the DSP to the Basic White piece and then I taped that to the front of the card.

Then I die cut the spider web using Basic Black card stock and colored it with Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.

A 3-1/4" x 1-1/4" strip of Basic Black card stock was cut and colored with Wink of Stella. I set it aside to dry while I stamped the words from the "Frightfully Cute" set using black Memento ink on Basic White card stock. I die cut them with the circle die from the "Frightful Tags" die set. The circle measures 1-3/8" so if you have other round dies you could find one close to that size. 

The pumpkin was punched out from one of the pumpkins in the same DSP package. I have a sheet of the DSP that I keep punching characters from. 

I added some tape to the back of the Basic Black strip and set the spider web on it to hold it in place. Then I added tape to the entire strip and set it in place on the front of the card. The bottom of that strip is about 2" up from the bottom of the card. My spider web is not attached at the top, just what is under the strip. 

The words were taped in place next and then the pumpkin was added using Dimensionals.

I tied a black gingham bow and used a couple of small glue dots to hold it in place.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside of the card and the card was done.

I thought it was such a cute and easy card to make. I really like the layout. I am hoping to use it for an upcoming Christmas card in the near future.

Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween, Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

Only a few more days till Halloween and only a few more days to use the Halloween stamp sets I bought. the sad thing about these sets is, it's rare they ever show up in the next catalog. So you pretty much have to use them now. SO here's today's card. I found it here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Old Olive card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Cute Halloween" 6" x 6" stack. I sponged the edges with Old Olive ink. I used my blending brush to do that.

Then I cut a 3/4" strip of the DSP with the boos all over it. I taped it to a 7/8" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock. I added Dimensionals to the strip and set it aside.

The ghost was punched out and the skull was fussy cut from the DSP in the package. I added Dimensionals to the back of each of them and set them aside.

Black gingham ribbon was used for the bow and a piece of white Baker's Twine was tied around the ribbon to form a bow. The twine was then tied in a bow. I used glued dots to affix it to the boo strip.

The words are from the "Frightfully Cute" set and were stamped using black Memento ink. I used the die from the "Frightful Tags" set to cut them out. I also cut two Old Olive pieces for the layers. The more I look at the card, the more I think Basic Black would have been better for the layers.  What do you think? I cut the die cut piece a little more than half, it cut it just four dots beyond center on both pieces. Then I taped them to the back of the word piece. I added Dimensionals in the center area and set it aside.

The strip was set in place about 1-7/8" from the top of the card. Then the word piece was added. The two characters were then set in place. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside and the card was done.

This is a very fun and easy card to make. Another kid friendly Halloween card.

Bright Bobbles, Penguin Playmates, Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

As I was looking for a fun layout, I had run across a card that used some Washi tape strips on a card. Stampin' Up! no longer carries Washi tape so I decided that strips of Designer Series Paper (DSP) would do just fine. So here's what I came up with.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White for the top layer. 

The DSP is from the "Penguin Playmates" 12" x 12" package and I only needed one 1/2" x 12" strip. I ran some snail tape along the DSP strip and place the first one at the bottom right. I used my grid paper to help me line up the first strip. I counted 4 squares across the bottom and 4 squares up on the right. The bottom edge of my DSP was the marker for the 4 squares. I set the DSP on making sure I was doing it sparingly so I could use only one piece. Not that I couldn't cut another piece but I really didn't need to if I was careful in placing the strips. I snipped the ends. For the second strip I turned the DSP so the snipped end fit on the right side, then I only had the bottom end to cut. For the last strip I turned the DSP again and lined up the snipped end on the bottom and set the piece in place. There is about an 1/8" space between the strips.

The strips were then covered by a piece of copier paper and I splattered some Pool Party ink on the upper white area. I tried the tapping of my marker on my scissors but I couldn't get the marker to give up any ink, so I had to take the tip of the pen and flick the tip of it inside the cap of the marker to get some ink to splatter. My marker must be getting dry.

Next I die cut some snowflakes from the "So Many Snowflakes" die set. I took my blending brush and scrubbed on some Pool Party ink. 

The penguin is from the Penguin Playmates DSP and I just punched him out. I added Dimensionals behind him and set him in place on the front of the card. 

A little bit of glue was added to the back of the snowflakes and they were set in place on the front of the card.

I thought about adding some rhinestones but I opted to just color the snowflakes with Wink of Stella and call it done. 

I like how it turned out, it was simple and easy to do too!
