Traditions of Christmas, Traditional Labels, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a quick and easy Christmas card to share with you. I found it on Pinterest and you can see the original card by clicking here. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Cherry Cobbler card stock, it opens on the right and the fold is on the left. A 4" x 5"1/4" piece of Basic White was taped to the inside.

On the front a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White was cut for the largest later. On top of that is Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Traditions of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. This package of paper has SO many beautiful sheets in it. I've had fun with everyone of them so far! The top piece was cut at 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" and the bottom piece was cut at 3-3/4" x 2-1/4".  I taped the bottom piece down first and then the top on next. If there was an overlap it won't show.

The gold band was cut at 3-3/4" x 5/8" and was taped across where the two pieces of DSP meet.

The words are from the "Traditional Labels" bundle and were stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink. I cut them out with the matching die. I set them on the front of the card using Dimensionals.

Three gold glittered embellishments were added and the card was done. My embellishments were left over "Polished Dots" that I put clear nail polish on and sprinkled them with ultra fine gold glitter. I recommend doing this before you start the card so the polish has time to dry. By the time I was ready to add them they were all set and ready to use.

This was such a quick and easy card to make. It's got a nice festive look to it too.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
