The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red card stock for the largest layer. On top of that is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Traditions of Christmas" 12" x 12" package.
I used the third largest die from the"Textured Notes" set and the dotted DSP. On top of that is a Basic White piece cut using the 5th die in that same set.
The flowers were fussy cut from the same package of DSP.
The words are from the "Celebrate Tidings" (retired) stamp set using Real Red ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. They were punched out using the (retired) "Double Oval Punch". And using the scalloped part of the punch and Real Red card stock, I punched the layer behind. I taped the two pieces together.
Dimensionals were added to the back of the flower piece and it was set in place on top of the Basic White rectangle. Dimensionals were added to the back of that and it was set in place on the red dotted piece of DSP. Then that was taped to the front of the card about 9/16" from the fold and 5/8" from the top and bottom edges.
Dimensionals were added to the right side of the word piece and tape on the other have and it was set in place on the front of the card about 7/8" from the bottom edge. And the card was done.
I enjoyed making this card, even with the fussy cutting. This DSP is SO pretty and I have loved working with it and was pleased with every card I made using it.
Thank you SO very much for stopping in and seeing today's Christmas card,
Wanda
