Splendid Autumn, Label Me Grateful, The Right Words, Masculine Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fall masculine birthday card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Cajun Craze card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was taped to the inside.

I cut a 1" x 5-1/4" strip of Cajun Craze was textured using the "Damask Designs" embossing folder. I taped that strip to the left side of the card.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Splendid Autumn" 6" x 6" stack. I cut 2" off the left side of the sheet and then cut the right side so the piece measured 2-7/8" x 5-1/4".  I taped that to the front of the card.

The words are from "The Right Words" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Cajun Craze card stock. I cut them out using a die from the "Stylish Shapes" set. The little leaf is from the "Label Me Grateful" bundle and I cut it out at the same time as the word piece.

I tied a piece of Baker's Twine around the left side of the word piece. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card about 2" from the bottom and 1" from the fold. I taped the little leaf in place and the card was done.

This was a fun, quick and easy card to make and it's perfect as a masculine card!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
