The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Cherry Cobbler card stock. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White was taped to the inside.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler was cut and then textured using the new "Jolly Holly" embossing folder. This is a folder that I'm going to keep forever! I just love how it looks and it's such a prefect holiday background image. Anyway, I taped this piece to the front of the card.
Next I took the "Merry Christmas" card from the "Joyful Days Memories & More" card back and taped it to a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
The organza bow is some retired ribbon that I had. It's very thin so I doubled it so it would have a bit more color. I glued it to the upper left corner of the word piece and the card was done.
This card went together so quickly that I actually made two. I made one using Cherry Cobbler card stock and the other I used Real Red. I preferred the Cherry Cobbler color better. The Real Red didn't quite go as well with the color of the words.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
