Traditions of Christmas, Peace on Earth, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a Christmas card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it with a retired snowflake embossing folder. I taped it to the front of the card.

The Designer Series Paper strip is from the "Traditions of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. It measures 5-1/4" x 1-1/2".  I taped it to the upper part of the card about 1/2" from the fold.

The layered framed pieces are from the "Peace on Earth" bundle. One was cut using gold foil card stock and the other from Basic White card stock. I taped the layers together and added Dimensionals on the back.

I fussy cut the flowers from the "Traditions of Christmas" package. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set on top of the layers. Then that was set in place on top of the card about 5/8" from the left side and 1/4" from the top and bottom.

The words are from a Paper Pumpkin kit, I'm not sure which one.  They were stamped using black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. They were cut out using the largest ribbon die in the "Stylish Shapes" package. The right end was snipped and Dimensionals were added to the back. It was set in place on the front of the card about 1/2" from the bottom.  And the card was done.

This was a very fun card to make. I love the red on white look.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
