Joyful Days Memories & More, Snowflake Kisses, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a Christmas card to share with you that I found on Pinterest. You can see the original card by clicking here. Please read on to see how the card was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was taped to the inside.

The pretty Christmas plaid paper is from the "Joyful Days Memories & More" card pack. I trimmed one end so the piece measured 5-1/4" x 4".  I taped that to the front of the card.

The trees are from that same packet. I didn't need to trim it at all. I cut a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Real Red card stock for the layer. I taped the two pieces together. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card. I just centered it as much as I could by eyeing it. With the plaid being so wiggly one would never know if it was off by a hair!

The words are from the "Snowflake Kisses" bundle and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White card stock. I cut them out using the die in that bundle. At the same time I also cut out the snowflakes. There's a lot of fun snowflakes in that bundle and I can't wait to play with it more.

The words were set in place using Dimensionals and the snowflakes were set in place using glue.  I colored the snowflakes using my Wink of Stella pen to give them a bit of sparkle.

A red bow was tied and glued to the upper left corner of the tree piece and the card was done.

This was such a fun and quick card to make. I love playing with snowflakes (real ones too, when there's enough to make a snowman).

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
