The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-8" piece of Crushed Curry card stock and taped it to the front of the card.
Next I took a piece of Basic White card stock about 2-3/8" x 3-1/2" and textured it using the "Sunflower" 3D embossing folder. Find the prettiest spot on the folder you can and then run it through your Big Shot. Once it was embossed I taped it in place on top of the Crushed Curry layer. I marked my layer using a pencil and a few dots. I marked it at 1/2" from the top of the card and 3/8" from the fold. It doesn't have to be perfect, the top layer is going to cover it.
The top layer is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock. I cut the opening using the third smallest die in the "Textured Notes" set.
The words were stamped next and they are from the "Label Me Grateful" bundle. I stamped them using Cajun Craze ink.
Dimensionals were added all over the back of the piece and it was set in place with the opening over the embossed piece.
For a final touch I added some embellishments. Mine are retired "Candy Dots". I still have quite a few of them to use up, but they are getting used. Add whatever embellishment you wish.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. I love this layout because you can use some larger words on it and still keep it clean and simple looking.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
