The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut two pieces of 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock, one for the inside and the other for the outside. Both were taped in place.
I cut a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Basic Black card stock. Before texturing it with the "Exposed Brick" embossing folder, I die cut the black lacy die cut piece from the center. Once cut, I textured the piece and glued it to the front of the card. I also cut one from a scrap piece of Basic White card stock so I could use the center for the words. I saved the lacy outside for a future card.
The large white oval piece was stamped using Basic Black hybrid ink and die cut with another die in the "Scalloped Wishes" bundle. I glued the black lacy oval piece to the stamped Basic White piece.
Next I stamped the words from the same bundle using Basic Black hybrid ink. I should have moved them up a bit more but it's okay, it's still pretty. I taped this piece to the opening in the lacy oval.
The flowers were die cut from a piece of Berry Burst card stock and the greenery was cut from a piece of Mossy Meadow. They were glued in place on the front of the card.
I added some pearls to the center of each of the flowers. I have SO many pearls leftover and I plan to use them as often as I can.
A 1" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Exposed Brick" embossing folder. I glued this to the front of the card about 1-7/8" up from the bottom edge of the card.
Dimensionals were added to the back of the large oval piece and it was set in place on the front of the card and the card was done.
This was so much fun and it was a lot of fun playing with friends. More talking that stamping but it was still fun!
I'm not sure if this is a wedding card or a congratulations card. I guess it could be either one.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's card,
Wanda
