Days Like This Memories & More, Scalloped Blooms, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I have one more card using the "Days Like This Memories & More" pack before I put it away and move onto something else. I have so many fun sets and papers to play with. Please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock for the largest layer.

For the front pieces, I cut two cards from the "Days Like This Memories & More" pack. The piece on the left measures 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" and the larger piece on the right was cut to measure 3-1/2" x 3-3/4".  I taped the pieces to the Pool Party piece.

A 1/4" x 3-3/4" strip of Pool Party card stock was cut and taped where the other two pieces met.

The words were stamped next. They are from the "Scalloped Blooms" bundle and were stamped using Basic Black ink.

Two of the butterflies are left over from yesterday's cards and I cut the orange one from another card in the package.  If you look REALLY close you can see that I added an antenna to the green butterfly. It only had one because it was printed on the side edge of the card. I just cut a piece of Basic White card stock and colored it with a black marker and I taped it to the back of the butterfly. I made sure when I added the Dimensionals that one went across the back of the antenna so it would stay in place. I did make the antenna a bit longer so it would go across the back more so I could make sure it would be able to stay in place. Dimensionals were added to the other two butterflies and they were set in place.  That was it, the card was done.

This was such a super quick and easy card to make. And I promise tomorrow I will be using something other than the "Days Like This Memories & More" package!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
