The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock for the largest layer.
I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using "Fern & Flora" embossing folder. I glued it to the Soft Sea Foam piece and then that was taped to the card base. I set it under my stamping mat to set up and lay flat.
Next I cut the greenery. I used Garden Green on the left leafy piece. Old Olive for the large fern and Mossy Meadow for the the curly piece.
I put a piece of tape down on the front of the card and set the greenery in place.
I tied a linen bow and glued it in place.
The words were sitting on my worktable and I thought I'd use them. I had printed it out on my computer. I had punched them out and put Dimensionals on the back and set it on a piece of the scrap stuff that's from the Dimensionals. It's been sitting on my worktable for a while now. It was time to use it or have it ruined. I set in place on the front of the card, over the linen bow.
I colored a few rhinestones using the dark Old Olive Blends pen and set them in place on the front of the card and the card was done.
This was a quick, easy and fun card to make. I love how clean and simple looking it is. I think it would make a great masculine birthday card!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and seeing today's birthday card,
Wanda
