Fern & Flora, Garden Gathering, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a quick and simple birthday card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the largest layer and a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White for the top layer.

On the top layer I took my blending brush and scrubbed on some Soft Sea Foam ink. I thought it was a bit too light and it looked more yellowish than I wanted, so I lightly added some Garden Green.

I die cut the fern pieces from the "Fern & Flora" bundle using Basic White card stock. About 1-5/8" from the right edge and 1-5/8" from the bottom I added a little tape and set the fern pieces in place.

I do not recall where rectangle piece came from, it was sitting on my worktable along with the word piece already cut out. The words are from the "Garden Gathering" set and the die is from the "Sweet Words" label dies. I taped the word piece to the rectangle and added Dimensionals to the back. I set it in place over the taped area.

The two cut layers were taped together. Dimenisonals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card base. And that was it, the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make and it can be used for a number of occasions.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
