Gears & Texture, With You In Mind, Masculine Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun card to share with you. It was made using the "One Sheet Wonder" technique.  I found it on Pinterest and you can see the original by clicking here. There is a video you can follow too.  I'm only posting one of the 4 cards I made. Please read on to see how it was made.

I used the "Gears & Texture" bundle to make the card. I've used the bundle before but only the dies so this was a first time I used the stamps.

The colors of ink pads used here are Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, Basic Black, Pecan Pie, and Pretty Peacock.

The lady in the video had you make a pencil line to mark the for spaces on the full sheet of Basic White card stock. I just put my piece on my paper cutter and scored the lines to get my grid. It's all being cut away so it didn't matter if it was pencil or score marks though the score marks were a lot quick her than measuring and drawing.

I used the "With You In Mind" set to stamp the birthday greetings. I was looking through my current sets to find some thing that was large but I didn't have anything, so I dug out a recently retired set and used it.

The die cut gears and pieces were cut using Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock, Basic Black, and Silver Foil card stock.

After all of the stamping in the middle area of the full sheet and across the score lines I cut my pieces to measure 3-3/4" x 5".

I used Lost Lagoon for my layer and it measured 4" x 5-1/4".  That was taped to a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.

Some of the gears I popped up with Dimensionals and other elements I just glued in place.

This was fun and it was great to get 4 cards done so fast. My masculine stash is not very big so this was nice to be able to add to it.

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
