The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock for the layer. Before taping that layer down I used the second largest die in the "Countryside Corners" set. And I was SO glad to see that these are in the new catalog. I haven't played with it enough. This is what happens when you buy too many fun things. This time I didn't over do it so I would have time to play with everything more than once! After cutting I taped the Pool Party piece to the card base.
Next I cut a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" package. I taped that to the Pool Party piece.
Using the third largest die in the "Countryside Corners" set I cut a Basic White piece. I stamped the greetings on it using a stamp from the "With You In Mind" set (which is in the new catalog too). I stamped it using Blue Berry Bushel ink. I taped the two die cut pieces together and then taped that to the DSP.
In the package of DSP is a sheet full of pop out pieces. I popped out the cupcake and set it in place on the card using Dimensionals.
I thought the left side needed something so I used a few of the sequins from the "Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix" container. I was surprised to find that this is also in the new catalog. And that was it, the card was done.
This was a fun, quick and easy card to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
