Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, Unbounded Love, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun, quick and easy card to share with you and it will make two with the cuttings. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is in the left. I cut a 5-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Strawberry Slush card stock for the layer. I taped it on the top of the card base.

Next I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock for the main layer. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) will need to be cut next before the words can go on.

My DSP is from the "Florals in Boom" 12" x 12" package. It measured 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" and was cut on the diagonal.

I had taken a piece of Basic White card stock and laid down a section of flowers from the "Extraordinary Flora" Washi tape roll. I die cut them out with the matching die. I cut it on the diagonal too. Now I had 4 pieces so I could make two cards. I set two of the pieces to the left of the card so I could see how much space I had for words.

The words are from the "Unbounded Love" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink.

Once the words were stamped I taped the piece to the front of the card. The DSP and floral pieces were added to the right.

I die cut the smallest circle from the "Stylish Shapes" set using a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I glued it to the center of the two pieces.

I thought a little flower would look cute in the center of that circle. I added it using a Dimensional.

And I added a die cut flower on the lower right corner using Dimensionals. It was cut from a full section of the "Extraordinary Flora" roll. I'm going to be making a lot of cards with that roll of Washi tape. I took the whole roll and added Basic White card stock behind each section. One section has purplish flowers and the other has the pinkish flowers (like what is on today's card). There's a total of 66 sections. WOW!  That's going to make a lot of cards. They are pretty so I can imaging having a lot of fun with them.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
