The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petunia Pop card stock for the layer. On top of that is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White that I textured using the "Exposed Brick" embossing folder. The original card had a pretty floral folder that I do not have. I just made do with what I had. I glued the Basic White piece to the Petunia Pop layer and then I taped that to the card base.
Next I stamped the words. They are from "The Right Words" set using Petunia Pop ink. I cut them out on my paper cutter. Once cut they measure 2-1/2" x 3/4". The Petunia Pop layer was cut at 2-3/8" x 1". I taped the layers together. Dimensionals were added to the back and they were set in place on the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
The flowers are from the "Extraordinary Floral" Washi tape roll. I rolled out a section on a piece of Basic White card stock and using the matching die I cut all of the flowers at one time. There's 16 flowers in one section. There's two different sections, one with the flowers that compliment the Petunia Pop colors and one that compliments the Pretty in Pink colors. Plus you can use greens or any other colors that work well with it but those two colors are the ones used in the two sets. Okay, once the flowers were cut I added Dimenisonals on part of them and set them in place on the front of the card. The greenery was glued in place and the card was done.
This was such a quick and easy car to make and it's SO pretty. I think if I were to make another one I think I would change the orientation and use larger words. Maybe!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thinking of you card,
Wanda
