The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Nature Walk" 12" x 12" package. I taped it to the right side of the card.
A 3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut and then the edges were colored with Crumb Cake ink and a blending brush. It was then taped to the left side of the card.
Using the second largest stitched square from the "Stylish Shapes" set to cut a piece of Basic Beige card stock and the word piece of DSP from the same "Nature Walk" package. I taped the two pieces together. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card about 5/8" from the top and 3/8" from the right edge.
Next the leaves were cut. They are from the "Petals of Beauty" bundle using DSP from the same package. I taped them to the front of the card,.
The words are from the "Simply Said" set and were stamped using Early Espresso ink on Basic White card stock. The "Labeled With Love" punch was used to punch it out. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card about 1/4" from the right edge and bottom edge.
I had some retired "Faceted Gems" and set three of them in place on the front of the card and the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. I was glad I was able to make it with the materials that I had. What drew me to the card was the two square pieces in the center. I liked that look.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
