The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Beige card stock and taped it to the front of the card.
A 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut for the layer. On top of that is a 2-7/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock that was stamped on using the images from the "Gears & Texture" bundle. I used full Crumb Cake ink on the strip/lined images and on the splatters I stamped off once. I taped this piece to the Crumb Cake piece. Dimensionals were added to the back.
I cut the gears from the same bundle using Crumb Cake, Basic Black and silver foil card stock. I glued down the chain looking image first. Then I added Dimensionals behind the Crumb Cake gear and glued the rest of them on and around it.
The words are from the "Lovely Arrangements" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink. I cut them out using the die from the same bundle. I set the words in place using Dimensionals.
I removed the backing on the Dimensionals and centered the piece on the front of the card and the card was done.
This was a fun card to make. I like playing with these gears. It makes a great masculine card. It would also be great as a Father's Day card too.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
