Extraordinary Flora, Lovely Arrangements, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have another card I found using the "Extraordinary Flora" washi tape. You can see the original card by clicking here. I arranged the washi tape pieces a little differently than on the original card. Please read on to see how the card was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 3-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Stone & Vine" embossing folder. I glued the piece to the front of the card. I set it under my stamping mat so it could stay flat while it set up.

I took out my roll of "Extraordinary Flora" washi tape and set it on a piece of Basic White card stock. Then I used the matching die and cut the pieces out. The die cuts all of the pieces at one time.

Before adding the washi pieces I stamped the words from the "Lovely Arrangements" bundle using black Memento ink.

Dimensionals were added to the large center flower and the rest of the pieces were glued and tucked under. A couple of the small flowers were added using a Dimensional and the card was done.

I think the most difficult part of this card was trying to get the die on the washi tape lined up. Mine slipped a little when it went through the Big Shot. I used painters tape to hold things together, I guess two small strips isn't enough.  I'll try more next time.  Anyway, the images are within the cut area so they were usable.

I thought this was a fun card to put together. It's a very quick card to make too.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
