The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Beautiful Pattern" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card base and set it under my stamping mat so it can stay flat while the glue set up.
While the glue was drying, I die cut the bee, watering can and the large flowers from the "Cute as a Bug" 12" x 12" package of Designer Series Paper (DSP) the little flower with the grass is from the same package of DSP but it was fussy cut.
The "hello" is from the "Simply Said" was stamped using black Memento ink and cut out using a die from the "Banner Sayings" bundle.
The large circle is from the "Spotlight on Nature" die set. Basic White card stock was used for this. I took my blending brush and scrubbed on some Old Olive on the bottom and Balmy Blue on the upper part.
To assemble the pieces, I added Dimensionals to the backs of the cut pieces of DSP. I set the bee and watering can on first so I knew how much room I had to add the large flowers. Those were added next and then the little flower with the grass. Dimensionals were added to the back of the circle and it was set in place on the front of the card about 1/2" from the top and both sides.
I added a couple of Dimensionals to the back of the "hello" and set it in place on the front of the card about 1/4" up from the bottom and 1-1/2" from both sides.
For a final touch I took three tiny clear dots from the "Ladybug Garden" epoxy shapes. And that was it.
This was a super quick and easy card to make. I love the look of that embossing folder. It's got such a nice spring look to it. I thought it looked nice with these elements.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
