The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Beige card stock and taped it to the front of the card.
Using a piece of speciality card stock from the "Irresistible Designs" 12" x 12" package. Using my blending brush I scrubbed on some Soft Sea Foam ink and then I cut it out using the die from the "Lovely Arrangements" bundle. I added Dimenisonals to the back and set the piece in place on the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it. I always figure that if I think it looks centered then it's centered enough!
Next I stamped the flowers from the "Lovely Arrangements" bundle using Versa Mark ink on Basic White card stock. I sprinkled white embossing powder on top and heat set the powder. Using a blending brush, I scrubbed on some Fresh Freesia ink. Then I cut the two flowers out using the matching dies.
I stamped the leaves using Granny Apple Green ink and cut them out using the matching dies.
The words are from the same bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink and cut out using a die in the bundle.
The large flower was added first. I set it in place using Dimenisonals. Then I added the smaller flower wit Dimensionals on the lower part and glue on the upper part.
Glue was added to the lower 1/4th and slipped under the flowers.
A Dimensional was added to the right end of the word piece and glue on the left side and it was set in place on the lower part of the card. I planned it so the one leaf would sit above the word piece.
I added a few pearls and the card was done.
This was a fun card to make and I am pleased with the way it turned out. I am not a fan of heat embossing mostly because I tend to burn my fingers, even if I don't have my fingers on the paper (don't ask! LOL).
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
