Doodle This Birthday Card

Here's another card I made using the "Doodle This" set by Stampin' Up! A friend of mine (you know how I HATE to mention names on here) Cathy *wink, wink* made a card with this layout and colors last night and I just ran with it! It's a fun layout to play with! This really was a quick and fun card to make. No stamping the backgrounds, it's decorative papers from the Four Seasons package. I did use the Linen background stamp for the small square. It just needed a little something other than plain white. I cut out the flowers, sponged the edges and then taped it to Chocolate Chip card stock and then cut them out again leaving about 1/4" of brown. The edges needed to be darker than I could make them with sponging. I just LOVE quick cards!

Thank you for checking in!

I really like this card. I have HEAPS of single flower stamps (you can never have too many, can you?). I can see myself CASING your idea - not that my card will look exactly the same as yours.

I like this color combo but wouldn't have thought to use it for flowers. I love when people think out of the box!

Thanks for sharing!!
