Traditions of Christmas, Traditional Labels, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a Christmas card to share with you that I found on the internet. You can see the original card by clicking here. I did a little searching but didn't find any instructions so I had to wing it. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Mine opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red card stock was cut and textured using the "Peaceful Greens" embossing folder.

A 4" x 3" piece of gold foiled card stock was cut for the layer for the Designer Series Paper (DPS). The DSP is from the "Traditions of Christmas" 12" x 12" package. It was cut at 3-3/4" x 2-3/4". I taped the two pieces together.

I took a piece of red ribbon about 6" long. I added some tape to the ends and wrapped it around the layers. The bottom edge of the ribbon is about 3/8" from the bottom edge. Dimensionals were added to the back of the piece and it was set in place on the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.

The words are from the "Traditional Labels" bundle and was stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink on Basic White card stock. I cut them out using the matching die. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on top of the DSP.  And the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make and I do like how it turned out.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
