The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Gray card stock and textured it using the "So Swirly" embossing folder. I glued that to the front of the card.
Next I cut a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and scrubbed on some color using my Blending brush and ink pads. First I took the second smallest circle die in the "Stylish Shapes" set and cut a circle from the center of a scrap piece of card stock.
I used removable tape and set the circle where I wanted the moon to go. I scrubbed on some Pumpkin Pie ink. Then I scrubbed on some Mossy Meadow on the "grassy" area. And using that piece I cut the circle from, I laid it over the moon so only the moon was showing and I scrubbed on some Daffodil Delight ink. Then I took the same brush with the Pumpkin Pie ink on it and without adding more ink I scrubbed it over the moon to tone it down a bit.
Then I die cut the fence, house and bat using Basic Black card stock. I set them aside.
The cat was stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock using black Memento ink. I colored it in using my light Blends pens in Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Pecan Pie and Granny Apple Green. Then I die cut it with the matching die in the "Spooky Halloween" bundle. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set aside.
I cut the fence in half. I glued one piece to the right, then the house and then the other half of the fence.
I stamped the "Spooky" from the same bundle using black Memento ink.
The piece was then glued to the Basic Gray piece about 3/8" from the bottom and right of the Basic Gray piece.
The cat was then set in place. I added the bat using a small Dimensional.
Using my Wink of Stella I colored the bat, the hat and the treat bucket. And the card was done.
This was such a fun card and it did not allow me to use one single piece of Designer Series Paper from my package to help fulfill my goal of using up all the pieces in the package. UGH! Maybe tomorrow!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
