The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 12" x 12" "Painterly Pears" package. I taped it to the front of the card.
Using the "Spotlight on Nature" die set I cut the larger one from a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and the next size smaller was cut from a piece of Basic White card stock.
I stamped the "hello" from the "Simply Said" set using Mossy Meadow ink.
The pears and other pieces were fussy cut from another piece of DSP in the package. I glued the stem on the large pear. I took a piece of linen thread and tied a bow around the stem.
I taped the circles together and then added the large pear using Dimensionals. The small pears were added using a Dimensional were it touches the white circle and glue where it touches the large pear. Before pressing down on the double pears I added a little glue to the petal pink flowers and slipped it under the little pear. The brighter flower was glued in place and I slipped it under the leaf of the little pears.
Dimensionals were added to the back of the Mossy Meadow circle and it was set in place on the front of the card. And that was it.
This was a fun card to make and I just love the colors on it. That background piece was such a busy one and I was glad I was able to use it in such a pretty way on this card.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
