Spooky Halloween, Spooky Sweet, Halloween Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have another Halloween card to share with you. The pieces in my "Spooky Sweet" 12" x 12" package of DSP is getting down there. A few more cards and it's used up! It will be a first! Please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and I taped it to the inside.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP from the "Spooky Sweet" package and taped it to the front.

One of the rectangle tag type pieces was used for the focal piece. It measures 2" x 3-5/8".  I cut a 2-1/4" x 3-7/8" piece of Basic Black card stock and taped the two pieces together.

I set the focal piece on top of the card so I could see where to stamp the words. They are from the "Spooky Halloween" bundle and were stamped on the front of the card 5 times using black Memento ink.

Next I die cut the house from the "Spooky Halloween" bundle. Basic Black card stock was used for that. At the same time I cut a bat.

A piece of Daffodil Delight card stock was trimmed up and taped to the back of the house.

The moon was made using the smallest circle die in the "Stylish Shapes" set and it was cut from a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the house and it was set in place on the front of the focal piece.

The moon was taped in place and a bat was added using a small Dimensional.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the panel and it was set in place on the front of the card about 1/2" from the right and bottom edge of the card. And the card was done.

This was such a quick and easy card to make. I like being able to use those tag shaped pieces. The package has quite a few of them! Hope I can work more into fun cards.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
