Wildflower Birthday, Delightful Wishes, Beautiful Butterflies, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I created a quick birthday card with some pieces that I had sitting on my worktable.  Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens from the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I had a 4-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic White card stock that was textured using the "Starstruck" embossing folder that was available in the 2025 Sale-a-Bration booklet. It was glued to a 5" x 3" piece of Pool Party. This was the piece sitting on my worktable, it was ready to go.

Sitting on top of it was the tassel banner, so I just added some Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the textured piece. Then I taped that to the upper part of the card about 1/4" from the two sides and top fold.

The cupcake was sitting on my worktable with Dimensionals on the back. I'm not sure what I was going to do with it but I decided to add it to this card. The cupcake and tassels are from the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" package of Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The words were stamped from the "Beautiful Butterflies" bundle and were stamped using Blueberry Bushell ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I cut them out using a die from the "Delightful Wishes" bundle. Dimensionals were added to the back and they were set in place on the front of the card about 1/2" from the fold.

I thought the card looked pretty plain so I added some "Itty Bitty Bokeh" sequin type pieces to the front and the card was done.

I'm not overly thrilled with it but I did get some pieces off my worktable!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
