Labeled With Love, Wildflower Birthday, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun birthday card to share with you and an easy layout! Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Pretty in Pink card stock. Once cut in half on the short side it measured 4-1/4" x 11".  It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the layer.

On top of that layer I have three pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" package. The bottom piece was cut at 1-3/4" x 3-7/8" and the top two pieces are cut at 3-1/4" x 1-7/8" each. I taped them on top of the Basic White piece.

Next I stamped the words from the "Labeled With Love" bundle using Blueberry Bushel ink on a piece of Basic White card stock.  I cut them out using the 4th largest die in the "Stylish Shapes" set. And the Pretty in Pink circle was the 3rd largest in that set. I taped the two circles together. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the front of the card about 1-1/2" from the bottom edge.

I had some retired gold pearls and I thought I'd use them on this card. I had three left in the package and now I just have a bunch of silver one. I'm sure I'll be using them up soon too. That's my goal, to use up what I have.  After adding the pearls, the card was done.

It's such a quick and simple layout. Plus you can use lots of scrap pieces in your stash. I love that idea!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
