The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
The two strips on the left are from the "Wildflower Birthday" 12" x 12" package of Designer Series Paper (DSP). They come from a sheet that has a lot of panels on it. I had cut these from the sheet a while ago and used the other parts that were next to them. I saw these in the package and wondered if I could make a card using them and this is what I came up with. I taped them to the left side about 3/8" from the left edge and top fold and bottom edge. There's a 1/8" space between the two strips.
I wasn't sure about the bottom strip but I thought I just just add it because it's in the package along with the other pieces. I stamped the greetings on from the "Simply Said" set using black Memento ink. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place about 3/4" from the bottom edge and 1/2" from the right side.
The flowers were popped out from a fun sheet in the package of DSP. I should have moved them down a bit. It looks like they are up a bit too high. Dimensionals were added to the flowers but glue was used on the leaves or I would have moved them. I could always add another flower over the bottom leaf and see what that looks like but for now, this is what it looks like. It's nice to use up these pieces.
This was a very simple card to make and it used up some pieces in the package.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's card (they all can't be winners),
Wanda
