The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Lemon Lolly card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of Basic White card stock. One was taped to the inside of the card and the other was die cut using the die form the "Delightful Wishes" bundle. I cut one in the upper left corner and one on the right bottom corner. Then I used my Crumb Cake marker and flicked on some dots of color.
Next I cut the Designer Series Paper (DPS) from the "Floral Delight" 12" x 12" package. The Pecan Pie colored layered piece was cut at 1-3/4 x 3-7/8". And the floral piece of DSP was cut at 1-1/2" x 3-5/8". I taped the two pieces together and then taped that to the front of the card. I centered it as much as I could by eyeing it.
The flower was from another piece of DSP that I fussy cut.
The words are from the "Labeled with Love" bundle and were stamped using Pecan Pie ink. I fussy cut them out.
I tied a bow from some thread that I had gotten somewhere. It looked like it matched the thread using on the original card. I glued the bow in place.
Using Dimensionals I set the flower and words in place and the card was done.
Even with the fussy cutting (which is not one of my favorite things to do) I did enjoy making this card an I think my mom will like it.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
